Rachel McMillan is a maintained Nursery School. We are one of the four Nursery Schools funded by Royal Greenwich Local Authority and one of only 400 maintained Nursery Schools left in England. We are a school like any other - we have a headteacher, a deputy headteacher, a teacher SENCo and class teachers, as well as Early Years Practitioners, Teaching Assistants, Premises staff and Office staff. All our staff are well qualified and extremely experienced at working with young children and their families.
We are currently doing admissions for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
We offer free 15 hours, term time only, 8.45 - 11.45 a.m. OR 12.30 - 3.30 p.m. five days per week, for 2 year olds.
We offer free 15 hours, term time only 9.15 - 11.45 a.m. plus one full day OR 12.45 - 3.15 p.m. plus one full day for 3 and 4 year olds.
We also offer 2 options of free 30 hours, term time only, to eligible 3 and 4 year olds:
1. Either 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. 3 days per week, term time only (£20 per week charge for food and sundries)
2. 9.15 a.m. - 3.15 p.m. five days per week, term time only (£20 per week charge for food and sundries)
It is possible with both of these options to buy more hours in term time and in the holidays.

If you are not eligible for the funded 30 hours your child will still be eligible for free 15 hours per week.
